Version 2026.11 · Effective 1 November 2026. Parents and guardians accept this agreement for each child and each school year when they enrol in My FI. It replaces the earlier PDF registration forms. Where the earlier forms were stricter, this agreement applies.
1. What FI provides
Live Online or Self-Paced teaching, DepEd-aligned learning materials, teacher feedback, progress tracking and the My FI parent portal. Official school records are issued through FI’s DepEd-accredited partner school. FI is 100% online and operates from the Philippines. See K–12 Programme Information.
2. School year
- Middle East track: starts in August, three terms (Aug–Nov, Dec–Feb, Mar–Jun), break in July. School year 2026–2027 started on 3 August 2026.
- Philippines track: starts in June (first intake June 2027).
- Live Online blocks: 8:00–10:30, 11:00–1:30 or 2:30–5:00, in the track’s local time.
- Self-Paced can start any month.
3. Admission
Upload in My FI: PSA birth certificate, latest report card (Form 138) or transcript, certificate of completion for Grade 7 and Grade 11 entrants, a recent 2×2 photo, and passport or government ID for the learner and parent. Grade placement depends on FI’s review of the report card.
4. Fees
- Annual tuition at the published rate on the Fees page, paid in full or in 12 monthly instalments due on the 1st of each month.
- Registration fee: as shown in your My FI statement.
- Sibling discount: every child gets 5% when 2 children enrol, 10% when 3 or more enrol.
- Transferees pay from their month of entry.
- Optional extras (tutorials, uniform, yearbook, magazine) are billed separately.
5. One-year commitment and withdrawal
Enrolment reserves your child’s place for the full school year. Withdrawal must be in writing to [email protected].
- Before classes start: all payments become FI Credit, except the registration fee.
- First week of classes: 90% of what you paid becomes FI Credit.
- Second week of classes: 80% of what you paid becomes FI Credit.
- After the second week: the full year’s tuition is due, and remaining instalments continue on schedule.
Instead of withdrawing you can switch from Live Online to Self-Paced (lower fee from the next month), pause for up to 1 month, or pass the paid place to a sibling or another family. Families in real hardship can ask Finance for a settlement plan. If FI cancels the programme, unused tuition is refunded in cash.
6. Payment
Pay only to the Filipino Institute company account shown in My FI, using your child’s My FI ID as the reference. Payments more than 15 days late pause class access until paid. Full rules: Payments, Refunds & FI Credit Policy.
7. Attendance and progress
- Live Online learners attend their block, with camera on where possible.
- Attendance below 80% in a term, or work not submitted, leads to a parent meeting.
- Promotion follows the partner school’s DepEd rules.
8. Records
Report cards and transfer credentials are issued through the partner school under DepEd rules. FI releases its own progress reports once fees are settled. See Certificates, Records & Verification.
9. Parent responsibilities
- Supervise younger learners and provide a device and internet connection (a laptop is recommended).
- Keep contact details current in My FI.
- Check that FI K–12 meets the education rules of the country where you live.
- Questions: email [email protected]. Billing: FI Finance on WhatsApp, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Philippine time.
10. Safety, conduct and privacy
You agree to the Child Safeguarding & Online Class Safety policy, the Code of Conduct and the Privacy Notice, including class recordings kept for safety and quality.
11. Changes by FI
If FI changes a teacher or schedule, it gives notice by email and My FI. Policy changes never reduce what you already paid for in the current school year.
12. Acceptance
You accept this agreement by typing your full name and ticking the agreement box in My FI. FI records the date, time and version. Enrolments through a partner centre also follow that centre’s own terms.
See all FI policies.
