Flexible timing, with the same lessons and the same guided weekly plan.
Focused teacher-led class block plus meaningful offline learning.
These are the learning areas for this grade. Your child’s exact subject list depends on their enrolment, their strand or track (Senior High) and the current curriculum rules.
Oral language, phonological awareness, letter/sound work, emergent reading and early writing.
Number sense, patterns, measurement language, shapes, comparison and simple operations.
Age-appropriate oral vocabulary, listening and familiar-language communication.
Observation, living/non-living things, environment, health and simple investigations.
Creative expression, rhythm, movement, coordination and performance.
Routines, cooperation, self-management and responsible choices.
Move week by week, follow one subject across the year, compare Self-Paced and Live Online, and preview what the learner, parent and teacher experience. It uses the same week-by-week plan as the full 47-week Academic Map.
Use current evidence to see what is secure and what still needs work.
Every week follows the same steps, adjusted to your child’s age and subject.
Bring back prior learning and surface what the learner already knows.
Introduce the new idea clearly through the Learning Book, teacher explanation or guided lesson.
Show a worked example, demonstration, think-aloud or age-appropriate model.
Build accuracy and confidence through focused practice.
Use learning in a meaningful problem, performance task, project, observation or real-life context.
Use a quick check, mastery check, teacher checkpoint or assessment evidence.
Fix misconceptions and incomplete work instead of treating the first score as the end.
Identify what improved, what remains difficult and what the learner will do next.
Keep appropriate evidence of learning, mastery, feedback, correction or completed work.
From Week 6 to Week 47, every week includes all of the materials below, not just a short summary.
This is an example week, to show how much happens in a typical FI week. Your child’s actual Week 6 topic may be different; their My FI learning plan shows the real one.
Live and Self-Paced are not separate curricula. The difference is pacing, teacher interaction, live-class guidance, attendance and support.
Exact dates are in the Academic Calendar for your child’s region and class group.
Orientation, baseline/retrieval, core learning, practice, application, term assessment and reporting.
New learning, greater independence, performance/application work, mastery support and reporting.
Advanced/final learning, correction, final assessment, completion review, records and promotion/transition.
Requirements: this page lists the usual documents, but the Requirements Finder and our admissions team confirm the exact checklist, including anything needed for late entry or transfer.

Help content should stay consistent with the real enrolment, Finance, learning and records workflows.
Use the Demo to see the age-adaptive workspace, then check requirements and continue through My FI.

Parent provides routine and materials, listens to reading/oral work, encourages independence and helps the child return completed evidence.
Teacher models early skills, checks participation/mastery gently, gives feedback and adjusts practice when foundations are not yet secure.
The interactive Demo shows the intended My FI experience. When you are ready for a real action, join or sign in to My FI.
