K–12 · CURRICULUM & LEARNING

A week should show what to learn, practise, apply and master.

The FI learning model organizes curriculum into grade, subject, term, week, module, lesson, activity and assessment so families can see progression rather than a folder of disconnected files.

CURRICULUM + LEARNING DESIGN

Grade-specific learning areas inside one permanent instructional system.

Public subject maps help families understand the learning breadth. Exact registered subjects remain governed by the approved program/current curriculum rather than being permanently frozen in marketing copy.

01

Early Years

Language, numeracy, discovery, movement, creativity, practical life and social-emotional learning.

02

Elementary

Language(s), Mathematics, Science/social learning, values, arts/health and practical/digital areas according to grade/current program.

03

Junior High

Subject-based language, mathematics, science, social studies, values, MAPEH and technology/livelihood learning where applicable.

04

Senior High

Core, applied and specialized/track/strand subjects according to the learner’s approved registration.

05

Digital & AI Literacy

Source integrity, verification, responsible tool use and academic honesty integrated where appropriate.

06

Permanent Instructional Sequence

Retrieve → Learn → Model → Practice → Apply → Check → Correct → Reflect → Evidence.

01

Permanent content structure

The production learning model should follow a consistent hierarchy that can scale from Nursery through Senior High.

  • Grade
  • Subject / learning area
  • Term
  • Week
  • Weekly topic / competency focus
  • Day / daily topic
  • Module
  • Lesson
  • Activity
  • Assessment
02

Weekly topic and competency focus

Every learning week should clearly answer “What are we learning this week?” before the learner opens individual files. The weekly overview connects subject objectives, required materials, offline work, submissions, mastery and reflection.

  • Week number and date range
  • Weekly topic / competency
  • Learning objectives
  • Subjects and lessons
  • Required learner materials
  • Offline activities
  • Assignments / performance tasks
  • Mastery check
  • Correction / recheck
  • Teacher feedback
  • Planner / reflection
03

Daily topic and learning rhythm

Inside each week, each learning day should show a simple Today view: what to learn, what to prepare, what live class to join if applicable, what to practise offline and what must be completed before the day closes.

  • Today’s topic
  • Learning target
  • Live class / teacher checkpoint when applicable
  • Read / watch / study
  • Practice / workbook
  • Offline application
  • Submission / evidence
  • Quick check
  • Correction / next step
04

Week-to-week continuity

The Demo already shows how Week 4 and Week 5 connect. Production should preserve that continuity so learners understand what is complete, what is current and what comes next.

  • Previous week
  • Current week
  • Next week
  • Locked/prerequisite items where applicable
05

Multiple learning materials

A module can use different formats depending on the learner and objective.

  • Learning Book / subject guide
  • Presentation
  • Workbook / mastery lab
  • Printable/offline activity
  • Project/performance task
  • Video or approved external resource
  • Mastery check
  • Correction/recheck
