Version 2026.11 · Effective 1 November 2026. This code applies to every FI learner, parent, alumni member and partner, in classes, My FI and all FI channels.
What we expect
- Respect: no harassment, hate speech, bullying or threats, including towards teachers and staff.
- Your own work: assessments are done by the enrolled learner. No copying, buying work or having someone else take a test. AI tools are allowed only where the task says so.
- Your own account: one person per account. No sharing log-ins or course access.
- FI content: lessons and materials are for the enrolled learner only. No reselling, uploading or sharing them outside FI.
- Honest records: no fake receipts, documents or identity. FI may check documents with the issuer.
What happens if the code is broken
| Breach | What happens |
|---|---|
| First minor breach | Written warning. For K–12, the parent is informed. |
| Copying or cheating on an assessment | The assessment scores zero and is retaken once. A second time leads to suspension. |
| Shared account or content | Access is paused until fixed. Repeated sharing ends access without FI Credit. |
| Harassment, threats or fake documents | Suspension or removal without FI Credit. A credential issued from fake documents is cancelled. |
Every decision can be appealed through Complaints & Appeals. Safety concerns involving children follow the Safeguarding policy.
