Certificates, Records & Verification Policy

Version 2026.11 · Effective 1 November 2026 (attestation update 2 November 2026; transcript update 4 November 2026). How FI issues, corrects and verifies certificates and learner records, including records from FI’s earlier years.

1. Digital first

FI certificates and transcripts are issued in My FI with a verification code. Anyone, such as an employer, can check it at Verify Credential. FI does not issue printed copies for now; learners can print their certificate themselves from My FI (Print / Save as PDF).

2. When certificates are issued

  • When the programme is complete and fully paid.
  • Professional programmes: within 10 working days of completion.
  • K–12 report cards and school records are issued through FI’s DepEd-accredited partner school under DepEd rules.

3. Records from earlier years (alumni)

  • Claim your record free through “Recover an Old FI Record” in My FI or by joining FI Alumni.
  • FI replies within 2 working days and completes the check of its records, including the 2018–2021 archive, within 10 working days.
  • If no record is found, FI asks for proof such as a receipt, an old certificate, ID or old messages.
  • Alumni record and certificate services are free.

4. Transcript of Records (TOR)

  • Every verified FI course record has a free Transcript of Records, available in My FI next to the course record.
  • Modules and hours follow the published course duration: Professional Diplomas 720 learning hours (8 modules of 90 hours), short courses 24 hours, online courses their published duration, and certifications and campus programmes as recorded for that batch.
  • Grades come only from FI records (the learning platform, batch grade sheets or the teacher’s records). FI does not accept grades typed in by a learner. Learners may send old evidence, such as a report or screenshot, which FI checks against its records.
  • Where completion is verified but the numeric grade is not on file, the TOR shows P (Passed). FI updates it when the batch grade sheet is recovered.
  • Grading system: 96–100 Outstanding, 90–95 Excellent, 85–89 Very good, 80–84 Good, 75–79 Satisfactory (passing grade 75), below 75 Not passed, INC Incomplete.
  • An FI TOR is a non-formal training record. It is not an academic transcript from a government-accredited institution. K–12 records are issued by FI’s partner school.

5. Corrections

Errors in names or details are corrected free, with proof (a valid ID).

6. What an FI credential confirms

An FI certificate confirms only what FI taught and assessed. Professional licences, degrees and equivalency decisions belong to the relevant authority, for example PRC, CHED or the ETEEAP college.

7. Attestation

Attestation is an optional third-party service arranged through FI partners. It is currently available in Bahrain (Wisdom Success Academy W.L.L., all FI courses) and Qatar (Wisdom Success Center, selected courses) only. Partners for the UAE and other countries are being finalised. The partner’s own fees and timelines apply. Latest status: Certificate Attestation – Updates.

8. Cancellation

FI may cancel a credential issued on the basis of fraud or false documents. Verify Credential will then show it as cancelled.
