Version 2026.11 · Effective 1 November 2026. These terms apply when you use Filipino Institute (FI) websites, My FI, and FI learning and services. FI is registered in the Philippines and delivers its programmes 100% online.
1. Our policies
These terms work together with the policies below. If a programme’s own terms are more specific, those apply.
- Payments, Refunds & FI Credit Policy
- K–12 Enrolment Agreement
- Programme Terms (Professional, Reviews, ETEEAP)
- Child Safeguarding & Online Class Safety
- Code of Conduct & Academic Integrity
- Certificates, Records & Verification
- Complaints & Appeals
- Privacy Notice
- Alumni, Referral & Partner Terms and Store Terms
2. Your My FI account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. One person per account.
- Parents manage accounts for learners under 18.
- Roles such as teacher, staff or partner are assigned by FI, not self-selected.
3. Accepting terms
You accept the applicable terms when you tick the agreement box before paying or enrolling. My FI records the date, time and version you accepted, and your receipt email repeats the key terms. If FI did not show you a term before you paid, FI applies the terms more favourable to you.
4. FI content
Lessons, videos and materials belong to FI and are licensed to you for personal learning only. You may not copy, resell, upload or share them outside FI.
5. Credentials and pathways
An FI credential confirms only what FI taught and assessed. Decisions by schools, colleges, regulators and other authorities belong to them.
6. Suspension
FI may suspend or close an account for non-payment, misuse, a breach of the Code of Conduct or a safety concern. You can appeal through Complaints & Appeals.
7. Changes
Every policy shows its version and effective date. FI gives 30 days’ notice of important changes by email and My FI. Changes never reduce what you already paid for in the current school year or course.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Nothing in them removes a right you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
