How do I go abroad to work the proper way from the Philippines?

Use only recruitment agencies licensed by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and check them on dmw.gov.ph, never work on a tourist visa, get official receipts, complete your medical, PDOS and OEC, and register with OWWA.

Is the FI roadmap only for Filipinos?

No. Filipino Institute is built for Filipinos everywhere and open to learners of every nationality. All courses are online and taught in English.

Does FI charge to apply for jobs?

No. Applying to jobs on the FI Job Board is always free. FI does not refer or place applicants; you apply directly to employers or DMW-licensed agencies.

Where can I register a business?

In the Philippines you register with DTI or SEC, get barangay and mayor's permits and register with BIR. Abroad, rules differ by country; FI can refer you to a business-setup partner.
