Licence and requirements

To teach in DepEd and most private schools you need to pass the PRC Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). You qualify with an education degree (BEEd/BSEd), or another degree plus the professional education units PRC requires – check PRC's current rules before you apply. Teaching assistant, tutoring and training roles do not need a licence.

FI Professional Diplomas and Certifications are skills-training credentials from Filipino Institute. They are not TESDA National Certificates, CHED degrees or PRC licences.
