Moving your child to FI mid-year? Here's how it works.
You can transfer any time during the school year. Your child joins the current week and catches up with help from the teacher – no need to wait for a new school year.
Common reasons families transfer
- Moving to or within the Middle East.
- School fees or travel time are too much.
- The child needs a calmer, more flexible way to learn.
- The family wants to keep the Philippine (DepEd) curriculum while living abroad.
Which schedule will my child join?
Transferees joining Live Online now join the Middle East schedule (Sunday–Thursday, Qatar time). See class times. You can also choose Self-Paced and start any day.
What to prepare
- Your child's latest report card (SF9) or school records, if you have them.
- The child's LRN (Learner Reference Number), if they studied in a Philippine school.
- A copy of the child's birth certificate or passport.
- Parent or guardian contact details.
Don't have everything yet? You can still start. Upload what you have in My FI and send the rest later.
The steps
- Register – fill in the registration form and choose Live Online or Self-Paced.
- Create your My FI account (free).
- Pay – Live Online is counted only from your child's start date. Upload proof in My FI → Payments.
- Start – your child's lessons open, and Live Online learners get their class block and Google Meet link.
- Catch up – the teacher tells you which earlier topics matter most, so your child can catch up without redoing the whole year.
Records
FI is an online learning provider following the DepEd K–12 curriculum. Before you pay, we confirm in writing how your child's official records – LRN, report cards (SF9) and permanent record (SF10) – will be handled, including any request to the previous school.
Fees
Live Online starts from ₱5,500 a month, counted from the start date. Self-Paced fees depend on grade. Siblings get a discount. See fees →
