Six Sigma: Entering the Dojo

In Six Sigma, tools aid in data collection and interpretation, and provide the basis for decision-making. There are no agreed upon standard tools used in Six Sigma projects. In this session we will describe seven tools that are often referred to as the seven basic quality tools.

The generation of ideas is important to the Six Sigma process. As a result, there are a number of methods to generate ideas as well as to reduce the number of ideas to get better consensus.
