K–12 Online Program (Philippine Curriculum)

These questions focus on the Philippine online K–12 learning experience delivered by Filipino Institute in partnership with DepEd-accredited schools in the Philippines.

Is Filipino Institute the school, or are you only the online provider?

Filipino Institute delivers the online teaching, classes, schedules, assessments, and parent communication. We are the day-to-day learning experience provider.

A DepEd-accredited partner school in the Philippines acts as the official school of record and is the one that:

  • issues or continues the LRN (Learner Reference Number)
  • records official grades and academic standing
  • issues report cards and Form 137/138, as applicable

What grade levels are available for the online K–12 program?

Our online K–12 experience supports learners from:

  • Kindergarten – parent-guided, gentle foundations
  • Elementary (Grades 1–6)
  • Junior High School (Grades 7–10)
  • Senior High School (Grades 11–12) – strand-aligned support

Can my child join if we are living outside the Philippines?

Yes. The online K–12 experience is designed for:

  • OFW families in the Middle East (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi, Kuwait, Oman)
  • Filipino families living in the Philippines
  • Filipinos in other countries with stable internet and a suitable device

Who will be my child’s teachers?

Online classes are delivered by Filipino Institute teachers and mentors who follow the Philippine K–12 curriculum in coordination with the partner school.

Teachers handle day-to-day lessons, activities, assessments, and feedback. The partner school recognizes the work and includes it in the student’s official records.

K–12 Learning Support Centers (Face-to-Face)

These questions explain the difference between online K–12 and the optional learning support centers or study hubs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Bahrain.

Are your learning support centers considered schools?

No. Our physical locations are learning support centers and study hubs, not schools.

  • They do not issue LRNs, report cards, or Form 137/138.
  • They are designed for supervised study, homework help, and structure.
  • The official school of record remains the DepEd-accredited partner school in the Philippines.

Who can use the learning support centers?

Priority is given to students who are:

  • enrolled in the Filipino Institute online K–12 experience, and
  • need a quiet, structured environment to study and complete tasks.

What happens inside the learning support center on a typical day?

Students primarily:

  • log in to their online classes and complete modules
  • receive supervised study time and light academic support
  • follow routines that build discipline and focus

In which locations do you have centers or hubs?

We are focused on key areas in the Middle East, such as:

  • Dubai and Abu Dhabi (UAE)
  • Qatar
  • Bahrain

Professional Diplomas, Certificates & Adult Programs

These questions apply to working adults and OFWs who want skills, diplomas, or structured training beyond K–12.

What kinds of adult programs do you offer?

Filipino Institute focuses on AI-proof, job-aligned training such as:

  • Caregiving, Nursing Assistant & Health Support
  • Office Administration, Executive Assistance, HR & Payroll
  • Accounting & Finance for SMEs and offices
  • Customer Service, Sales & Retail Operations
  • Education & Learning Support, Digital Office Skills

Are your diplomas the same as a CHED degree or PRC license?

No. Our professional diplomas are industry-focused training programs and do not replace a CHED degree or PRC license.

  • They are designed to build practical skills and confidence at work.
  • They can support applications or promotions but are different from formal degrees.
  • Where possible, we align content with common workplace standards.

How long do the professional programs usually run?

Program duration can vary, but many are structured into:

  • Short courses (a few sessions, purely skills-based)
  • Certificates (more focused, with practical assessments)
  • Diplomas (deeper, more comprehensive training paths)

Can I take a diploma while also working full-time or as an OFW?

Yes. Many of our adult programs are:

  • scheduled outside typical work hours where possible
  • delivered online or in blended formats
  • structured with realistic workloads for working adults

ETEEAP & Degree Completion Support

These questions are for Filipinos who have extensive work experience and want to complete a bachelor’s degree or similar qualification through recognized higher education institutions.

Does Filipino Institute issue the degree under ETEEAP?

No. Only CHED-recognized higher education institutions can issue degrees under ETEEAP or similar programs.

Filipino Institute provides support and guidance such as:

  • helping you document your work experience and learning
  • assisting with portfolio preparation and evidence gathering
  • coordinating with partner universities that run the formal program

Who is ETEEAP or degree completion support best for?

This is usually suited for:

  • Filipinos with many years of relevant work experience
  • supervisors, managers, and senior staff without a completed degree
  • OFWs who need a recognized degree for promotion, migration, or career change

Is admission to a partner university guaranteed?

No. Admission decisions are made by the partner university based on their own policies, CHED rules, and your submitted documents.

Our role is to:

  • help you prepare more organized and complete documentation
  • explain the process in simple language
  • support you as you communicate with the university

Do you guarantee visas, migration, or PR approvals if I study with you?

No. Filipino Institute and its partners cannot guarantee any visa, migration, or permanent residency outcome.

We can only:

  • provide training, support, and documentation within our scope
  • help you understand what a course or credential is designed for
  • advise you to follow official government and embassy guidelines

Tuition, Payments & Documents

These questions clarify how tuition, fees, and documents work across online K–12, learning support centers, and adult programs.

Are tuition fees the same for all countries?

No. Tuition and learning support fees are usually based on:

  • program type (K–12, diploma, short course, etc.)
  • delivery mode (fully online vs with learning support center)
  • location and currency (Middle East, Philippines, global access)

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted payment methods depend on your location and the specific program. Common options may include:

  • bank transfer or deposit
  • online payment links (where provided)
  • designated payment partners or remittance options

Who issues the official school documents for K–12?

For K–12 students, the DepEd-accredited partner school in the Philippines is the official school of record and is responsible for:

  • LRN (Learner Reference Number)
  • report cards and official grades
  • Form 137/138 and other formal school documents

Do you charge extra for documents or attestation?

Some documents and attestation services may have separate fees, especially when third-party or government processing is required.

We will always:

  • communicate fees clearly before you confirm
  • explain which fees belong to FI and which belong to other institutions

General Questions, Policies & Contacts

These questions cover common concerns about schedules, communication, and where to get official information about policies.

What time zones do you follow for online classes?

Many of our online sessions follow Gulf time zones (such as UAE time) because we serve a large number of OFW families in the Middle East.

However, we:

  • check your location during admissions
  • explain class time options clearly before enrollment
  • balance teacher availability with student locations

How will you communicate with parents and students?

Communication is usually done through:

  • WhatsApp groups or official numbers for quick updates
  • email for more formal communications and documents
  • learning platforms or portals used for classes and assignments

Where can I read your official policies?

We maintain a dedicated Policies section that covers:

  • learning support scope and non-school statements
  • attendance, behavior, safety, and communication
  • fees, payments, refunds, and data handling

How can I contact you if I still have questions?
