This is Filipino Institute's current PEDAP screening policy based on FI's existing 2026 public PEDAP offer. It is not Philippine government law and does not guarantee credential eligibility.

BOUNDARY
It is not presented as a Philippine academic Associate Degree, CHED degree, TESDA National Certificate, PQF level award, professional license, immigration qualification or automatic employer-recognized credential.
Legacy record rule: Older FI PEDAP marketing used the phrase “Associate Professional Diploma.” V4.16.5 does not use that as the standard rebuilt-system credential name because it can be confused with a formal academic Associate Degree. Existing historical credentials should retain their original issued title and record history.

Authenticate the right document for the right destination—without promising acceptance.

What does PEDAP mean?
PEDAP is Filipino Institute’s Professional Experience & Development Assessment Pathway, an FI professional assessment, recognition and development service.
Is PEDAP the same as ETEEAP?
No. PEDAP is an FI professional pathway. ETEEAP is a separate CHED-governed higher-education pathway implemented through authorized/deputized HEIs.
Is PEDAP a CHED, DepEd or TESDA program?
FI does not present PEDAP as a CHED-created, DepEd or TESDA national program. PEDAP is governed as a Filipino Institute professional pathway.
Does PEDAP give me a college degree?
No academic degree is promised through PEDAP. The rebuilt-system standard outcome is an FI professional credential after completion of the applicable evidence, assessment and learning requirements.
What credential does PEDAP use now?
The rebuilt FI standard is “FI Professional Diploma — Prior Experience Pathway.” Older historical FI credentials retain the title originally issued to them.
How much work experience do I need?
Current FI PEDAP screening policy uses at least one year of relevant professional work experience for initial review. This is FI policy, not government law, and does not guarantee credential eligibility.
Can non-Filipinos apply?
Yes under current FI PEDAP policy. All-nationality access is an FI service policy and remains subject to identity, evidence, program fit and country-specific document/credential rules.
Can my experience automatically replace course modules?
No. Work experience is evidence. FI may map evidence coverage, identify gaps and assign assessment or learning requirements; it should not automatically convert employment years into completed modules or academic credits.
Will I still need to study?
Possibly. If FI identifies competency gaps, missing evidence or assessment deficiencies, required learning, projects, corrections or reassessment may be assigned before completion review.
Will I need an assessment?
PEDAP can use professional assessment methods such as portfolio review, interview, knowledge checks, case tasks, work-product validation or an integrated final assessment depending on the selected program.
What does ₱8,500 cover?
It is the current FI PEDAP pathway/service fee covering the governed review, alignment, evidence, competency/gap, assessment and completion workflow described on the PEDAP page. Separate learning, retake, attestation or third-party charges may apply only when disclosed in advance.
Does attestation mean employers or governments must accept my credential?
No. Attestation/legalization concerns document authentication. It does not guarantee academic equivalency, employer acceptance, professional licensing, visa approval, immigration acceptance or a particular job outcome.
Can PEDAP lead to ETEEAP later?
PEDAP can help organize professional history and evidence, but it does not automatically create ETEEAP eligibility or academic credit. ETEEAP must be assessed separately under the current CHED framework.
