Filipino Institute welcomes first nursery teacher

The Filipino Institute has recently welcomed its latest family member. Ellery Jalipa, a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English at the University of Southern Mindanao in Kidapawan City, is the first nursery teacher hired by the Filipino Institute.

Jalipa, 25, has started practicing her profession in 2016 when she became a tutor for Kumon Tutorial Learning Centre in Kidapawan. She then worked as a teacher for Notre Dame of Mlang in North Cotabato in the Philippines. On the sidelines, she tutored kids aged five to nine in the English language by enhancing their vocabulary and grammar.

Welcome to the team, Ellery!

The training centre is scheduled to offer homeschool nursery programs this year.
