Filipino CEOs in Dubai, including owner of Filipino Institute, featured on CNN International
For the very first time after the Covid-19 struck businesses in the emirate of Dubai, Filipino business owners and founders have come together for a ‘startup’ meeting where they share their business ideas and strategies.
As seen on CNN International’s Follow The Startup, the Filipino business owners gathered at the In5 Dubai recently.
Filipino Institute founder and president Mr. Gabriel Rimando was invited to the forum to share what he does. The educational institution was established five years ago and as of this writing, they have already nurtured more than 100,000 graduates.
Through short-term and diploma courses, they are also able to help Filipinos fulfill their dreams.
For her part, Irish Perez, the founder of Instorya, a tech-based company that prints and delivers photobooks, the forum opens doors to new investments and corporate partnerships.
“We know that we are not alone fighting this one, we are trying to support each other, motivate each other and we can actually get past through this. We just have to survive,” she said.
