Filipino Institute campus remains Covid-free; all staff tested negative for virus
As the country see a significant increase in Covid-19 for the past two days, the management of the Filipino Institute-Dubai has mandated its staff to get tested for the virus. All of its admin staff have been tested negative for Covid-19.
The staff received their negative test result on September 9, 2020.
According to Mr. Gabriel John Rimando, Founder and President of the training centre, the key to be Covid-free is hygiene, social distancing, and mask.
Everyone inside the campus is required to wear a face-covering and wash their hands often.
“We have alcohol and sanitizers all over the place. All the students are also required to wear face shields and masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19,” he said.
The Filipino Institute has reopened its doors in July and its staff had no cases of symptoms or instances of elevated temperatures.
Enrollment at FI’s Dubai campus is still ongoing. The first day of class will start on September 11 and October 30 is the projected graduation date.
Its campus in Dubai is exactly located on the 6th floor of the Al Zarooni Building, Al Rigga, Dubai (beside Avenue Hotel and just opposite of ADCB).
