
100% scholarship, ticket to Manny Pacquiao’s MPBL event, free meals, cargo discount–all given away by the Filipino Institute in an online raffle draw

Dubai–Ten lucky winners received various discount vouchers, free meals, wellness coupons, tickets, and scholarships in Filipino Institute’s online raffle yesterday. The draw which started 6:30 in the evening was hosted by Mr Orli Gayeta and Ms Justin Aguilar.
Answering questions related to the institution, the winners were chosen randomly every after round.
The first to win was Ms. Joan Laxamana from Al Ain who responded to the question “What anniversary year will FI be celebrating this coming November 8.” She was the fourth individual to answer correctly, corresponding to the answer which is 4. The Filipino Institute was established way back in 2015 which is why it will be celebrating its 4th founding anniversary this year.
The next to win was Mr. Samuel Nerona who was streaming all the way from Thailand. He was the 15th to answer the question, “How many campuses does FI have?.”
FI currently has 15 operating campuses across the GCC, which is why the hosts considered the 15th individual to answer correclty as the winner.
He won coupons for discounted meals and free dishes sponsored by Gerry’s Grill.
The third coupon drawn was the 50AED gift voucher from CMG: A cargo company which will host the Gawad Kasambahay Awards here in Dubai.
The winner is Ms. Criselda Tiberio who correctly commented the name of the Founder and President of the Filipino Institute– Mr. Gabriel John Rimando. The winner is also from Al Ain.
The online viewers went wild after the hosts announced a surprise giveaway of a silver ticket to Manny Pacquiao’s MPBL Basketball League which will happen on September 27 and 28 in Hamdam Sports Complex. The Filipino Institute supports the MPBL event and are also selling tickets.
The winner, Ms. Catamora Amra, simply answered the question when will the next FI anniversary be celebrated. It will be held on November 8 at Shabab Al Ali Club where more than 4,000 students, alumni, and trainers are expected to come.
The night couldn’t get any better as Mr. Gabriel John Rimando handed out three vouchers for 100% scholarship in any of the short-courses offered by the FI.
The hosts only asked the viewers to correctly comment in the live stream video the tag line of FI. A lot of aspiring students commented but the first three to answer correctly were:

The tagline which they answered was “Kaya ko, kaya mo, kaya natin ‘to.” They can now enroll in any of FI’s short courses for free in their chosen branch.
Another lucky winner was Ms. Fathima Jamilah who won a 25% Global Certification Program voucher. She was able to answer correctly the title of the upcoming show of the Filipino Institute in partnership with the World Trade Media which is The Global Filipino Show.
Last but not the least, two viewers from the Philippines were lucky enough to win 2 FI mugs by commenting first on what F.I. stands for.

The draw ended at 7:20 in the evening. The Filipino Institute conducted the draw to thank all of its supporters and partners. They also announced that they will be doing series of similar online raffle every Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:00 in the evening.
